All of our cruises are carried out by a guide present on boat, the visit is thus adapted to the educational level of the children.

We have several large 50-seater boats. They can therefore fit large groups to facilitate your planning and organization.

 

Freebies

Schoolchildren and leisure centers: 1 adult free for 8 kindergartens or 10 primary, middle and high schools.

Other groups: 1 guide and 1 driver free if there is at least 20 paying people.

The swamp is not just for adults!

During a visit by boat, the children discover

the specificities of our beautiful marsh.

The guide talks about the plants, vegetables and animals that can be encountered. They adapt to children on board.

For those with a higher education level, they will narrate the story and the cultural riches.

The legends of the swamp and the story of its witch

won't hold any secrets for anyone.

 

Children are invited to interact with the guide to discuss these discoveries and ask as many questions as possible.

It all starts with an old book entitled "Le Marais de Viala".

As the story unfolds, children discover the biodiversity of the marsh

During this tour, the animator challenges the children to help them find

"The most beautiful and precious thing".

This tour is ideal for kindergarten and primary school pupils.

Inspired by the book "Dans la forêt vierge" by Judy Allen and John Butler. Published by L'école des Loisirs.

Large discovery circuit of the marsh: in addition to the 'ordinary' visit, the boat will follow a large part of market gardening, the protected area. Students will discover typical dwellings.

The 2-hour visit will allow the guide to go more in depth about certain themes.

They will also take the time to admire the riches in sight, and enjoy the varied biodiversity. The marsh labeled by UNESCO will not have any secret for you.

for manual wheelchairs

During the 1-hour boat tour, students will enjoy a varied discovery of the marsh:

the fauna, flora, cultures, habitat, life in the marsh will not have secrets for you anymore!

At the end of the visit, the guide drops off the students in the Nature Reserve of les Etangs du Romelaëre for a free walk back  (+/-1h30 at the pace of a 6 year old child, less than 4km).

Info: For the mixed classes the youngest can stay on the boat

and return to the starting point. They will enjoy a boat trip of 1h30.

More : 
Possibility of a nature guide during the walk back (€98 for 25 children).

Treasure hunt during the walk back (+ €1.50 per child).

Discover the marsh, its riches and its biodiversity before walking through a passage that leads to an observatory on stilts accessible only by water.  


Our marsh, labeled by UNESCO Man & Biosphere, will reveal its riches and heritage to the students. The senses of the students will be stimulated by the fauna and flora discovered during the visit.

The LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) guide adapts

to children's ages

Accessible under certain conditions

Tour of the Tourniquet observatory and discovery of the local fauna with an LPO62 guide

(French league for the protection of birds). The students will discover the species of birds living in the marsh.

The LPO guide is available for 4 hours. It is therefore possible to make several departures with different classes.
